SubWallet: A Multi-Chain Crypto Wallet for Polkadot and Ethereum
SubWallet is a non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet and gateway designed for the interconnected Web3 ecosystem. It provides a unified platform for users to manage assets, interact with decentralized applications (dApps), and conduct transactions across over 150 blockchain networks, including Polkadot, Ethereum, and their respective parachains and layer-2 solutions. This single interface eliminates the need for multiple wallets, making it an essential tool for anyone navigating the multi-chain universe.

Managing Multi-Chain Assets and Portfolios
Within the SubWallet interface, users first select the desired network from a comprehensive list. The dashboard then displays a consolidated view of all token balances across those connected chains. Users can review their portfolio’s total value, filter assets by network, and click on any token to access more detailed transaction history. This centralized management is a core function of SubWallet, providing a clear overview of a user’s entire cross-chain financial position without needing to switch applications.

Sending and Receiving Digital Assets
To send funds, a user selects the ‘Send’ function, chooses the origin network and asset, and enters the recipient's address. SubWallet automatically validates the address format for the selected network. For receiving, users navigate to the ‘Receive’ tab, select the network, and share their public address or its QR code. This process in SubWallet is streamlined to handle transactions across all its supported chains from one location, ensuring clarity and reducing the potential for user error on incompatible networks.

Staking and Earning Rewards Directly In-App
SubWallet integrates staking functionalities for supported networks like Polkadot. Users navigate to the ‘Earn’ section, select their preferred token, and choose to either nominate independent validators or join a nomination pool. After selecting their option and confirming the amount to stake, they approve the transaction. SubWallet then manages the delegation, and users can track their accrued rewards and unstaking periods directly within the app, simplifying a typically complex process.

NFT Discovery and Collection Management
The SubWallet application features a dedicated section for non-fungible tokens (NFTs). It automatically detects and displays NFTs owned by the user’s address across supported ecosystems. Users can browse their collections visually, view metadata, and see which chain an asset belongs to. For deeper exploration, the integrated marketplace connector allows users to jump directly to external NFT platforms to buy, sell, or view more assets, all without leaving the SubWallet environment.
Connecting to Web3 dApps and Services
A primary use for SubWallet is to act a secure Web3 credential. Users browse to a supported dApp in their regular browser and click its ‘Connect Wallet’ button. They then select SubWallet from the list of options, which triggers a connection request pop-up from the SubWallet extension. The user reviews the permissions and approves the connection, granting the dApp secure, read-only access to their public address for interactions like trading or gaming.
Purchasing Crypto with Fiat Currency
SubWallet incorporates a fiat on-ramp feature through third-party providers. Users select the ‘Buy’ button, choose their region and desired cryptocurrency, and are presented with available payment options like credit cards or bank transfers. After being redirected to the provider’s interface to complete the KYC and payment steps, the purchased crypto is deposited directly into their SubWallet address on the specified blockchain, streamlining the entry into crypto.
Synchronizing Accounts Between Mobile and Extension
SubWallet offers a seamless cross-device experience. On the mobile app, users generate a unique QR code within the settings menu under the ‘Sync’ option. They then open the SubWallet browser extension, navigate to its sync feature, and scan the mobile QR code. This process securely links the two instances, ensuring account details and preferences are mirrored, allowing users to switch devices without any manual reconfiguration of their SubWallet.
