The Chevron app streamlines the fueling experience by merging the former ExtraMile Rewards program into a single platform. This mobile tool transforms your phone into a powerful companion for saving money on gas and in-store purchases at participating Chevron and Texaco stations. Users download Chevron to access a seamless payment system, exclusive offers, and a straightforward rewards program, all designed to make every visit to the pump more efficient and rewarding.

Mobile Payment and Pump Reservation

To pay for fuel, users first link a debit or credit card to their profile within the Chevron app. Upon arriving at a participating station, they open the app, select the specific pump number, and choose their saved payment method. This action reserves the pump and authorizes the transaction directly from the driver's seat. After fueling is complete, a digital receipt is immediately available in the app, eliminating the need for physical cards or a trip inside to pay.

Earning and Redeeming Fuel Rewards

Members of the Chevron rewards program earn points on every gallon of fuel purchased and on qualifying convenience store items. These points accumulate in the user’s account, which can be viewed in the ‘My Rewards’ section. The Chevron app allows users to redeem accrued points for discounts of up to 50¢ per gallon at the pump. This redemption is managed through the app during the mobile payment process, automatically applying the savings to the transaction.

Locating Stations with Custom Filters

The Chevron app includes a comprehensive station locator that uses the device's GPS to find nearby participating locations. Users can apply filters to view only stations that offer specific amenities, such as EV charging, car washes, Amazon Hub Lockers, or restrooms. This Chevron feature ensures drivers can plan their stops based on their immediate needs, whether they require diesel, renewable fuel blends, or a quick car wash.

In-App Offers and Promotional Discounts

Beyond fuel savings, the Chevron app provides access to exclusive promotional offers for ExtraMile convenience store items. These limited-time discounts are displayed in the app’s ‘Offers’ tab. Users can browse available deals and activate them with a tap. The activated offer is then automatically applied to the user's account, and the discount is processed during the next eligible in-store purchase when the linked mobile payment method is used.

Integration with Android Auto and Wear OS

For enhanced convenience, the Chevron app extends its functionality to in-car dashboards and smartwatches. Android Auto users can project the app interface onto their vehicle’s display to find stations, pay, and redeem rewards without handling their phone. Similarly, those with a Wear OS device can authorize payments and redeem rewards directly from their wrist at supported Chevron stations, making the transaction exceptionally quick and contactless.

Tracking Purchases and Account Management

The app serves as a central hub for managing all transaction history and account details. Every mobile payment made through the Chevron app generates a digital receipt that is stored within the ‘Transaction History’ section. Users can review past purchases, track their spending on fuel and snacks, and monitor their reward point balance. This Chevron feature provides full transparency and easy access to records for expense tracking or budgeting.

Accessing Support via Digital Assistant

Should users have questions, the Chevron app includes an integrated digital chatbot named Mobi. This tool provides instant answers to common queries about the rewards program, mobile payment, station locations, and troubleshooting. Accessible from the app’s help section, the chatbot offers 24/7 assistance, ensuring users can resolve issues quickly without needing to make a phone call or search for information externally.
